All aspects of traditional plastering and modern plastering are undertaken and carried out to the highest standards. Our workshops are able to produce mouldings of any design, either from our extensive stock, or from drawings.
On site visits may be arranged, or customers may visit our showroom/workshop where advice and samples are freely available.
We are specialists in traditional plastering methods and traditional fibrous plasterwork. The plastering services we provide include the following.
Mouldings
We make both plane mouldings and enriched mouldings in all styles from Queen Anne to the Art Deco period. Our plaster mouldings include:
- Coving
- Cornice
- Ceiling Centres and Ceiling Roses
- Columns
- Niches
- Corbels and Scrolls
- Domes
- Dado Rails
- Archways
All of our plaster mouldings can be made and supplied directly or for a complete service we can make our plaster mouldings and install them on site.
Fibrous Plaster Restoration
For any damaged fibrous plasterwork or plaster mouldings we provide a restoration service to replicate any existing damaged installations. Plasterwork restoration projects can range from minor surface cracks to complete refurbishments.
Traditional Lime Plaster
Lime plaster is a traditional plastering material which dates back to the 4th Century B.C. We often use lime plaster in our conservation projects where it has been used in the buildings original construction and the projects requires a sympathetic approach.
Lime plaster has many advantages including its ability to breath and remain flexible as well as being environmentally friendly.
Design Services
When clients are working with a new, empty space we can design fibrous plasterwork specifically for this space. This may be from our current designs or we can design individual plasterwork for a completely unique finish. Authenticity is often a major consideration and we can ensure all fibrous plasterwork designs and mouldings are faithful to the buildings age and its environment.
Modern Plastering
In addition to traditional plastering we are experienced in modern plastering techniques. Our projects will often include solid plastering of walls and ceilings which are carried out in addition to our fibrous plastering.
